Our Mission

For centuries, the ocean has fueled a sense of adventure, while teaching valuable lessons of ​survival and the interconnectivity to our environment. That premise, learning about ourselves ​and our environment, is the essence of Ocean Science International, INC.


Ocean Science International, LLC. is a non- profit 501 (C)(3) public benefit organization ​providing valuable marine and environmental education. Through sponsoring these ​programs, OSI helps strengthen community involvement to promote global awareness of the ​environment and the importance of education.


Through science and educational ​organizations, Ocean Science International, ​Inc. provides assistance to fund the growth ​of research within large and small projects. ​These project areas encompass Science, ​Technology, Engineering, Arts, and ​Mathematics. These advancing projects of ​research, conservation to support and ​sustain the welfare of Our World.

OSI has sponsored Marine ​Science Floating Labs for over ​two decades through the avid ​support of our donors.

OSI has supported San ​Diego Anglers: Warriors ​on the Water for over ten ​years.

OSI aided in the success of youth ​participating in the excitement of​ fish​ing with their mentor.

Ocean Science International, Inc. (OSI) offers grant opportunities to support Marine Science education and ​awareness in the form of grants for research to inform educational programming. Grants for primary and ​secondary educational institutions are currently available for science educators and schools. Grants are ​dependent upon donor funding available.


A completed grant request form is required for each school classroom or organization. If awarded a grant, a ​grant report form must be submitted to OSI within one month of completing the funded project/program. ​Additional grant requests will not be considered until a grant report form is received and approved.


In addition to the Grant Report Form, OSI encourages organizations to include additional documentation in ​the form of photographs, sample writings or diagrams to elaborate on the outcome of your funded project.

For more than two decades, charitable ​donations such as yachts, aircrafts, autos ​and real estate have funded the community ​programs of Ocean Science International.

Vessel Donations

Working alongside OSI, Inc. yacht owners and brokers will ​experience efficient and timely process of their charitable ​donations and tax deductions.

Why donate to a charity ?

Philanthropic contributions aid in the security of funding to support our future ​endeavors. OSI, Inc. utilizes the funding to provide grants for communities, ​veterans and educational programs.

OSI process of donation...

Potential donors will work closely with our Director of Operations, ​and Vessel Maintenance and Management. Through their ​dedicated expertise they will facilitate the potential contributions.


Donors need to have a survey-appraisal that meets the ​guidelines outlined by the IRS in Publications 561 and 526 . In ​addition, we suggest the donor consult with their accountant, ​CPA or tax attorney to validate their supportive donation.


OSI will determine how the vessel would best support our many ​programs and charter potential. Once approved, OSI will provide ​to the Donor, a Letter of Acceptance, and an IRS Form 8283 and ​1098c will be issued and donor paperwork will be processed for ​transfer of ownership.
